Imagine trying to figure out just what Judas was up to, only to find/read “Jacob Begat Judas”, and needing to first understand what Jacob was up to before being able to know what Judas was up to.? Then finding/reading “Isaac begat Jacob” and needing to first understand what Isaac was up to before being able to know what Jacob was up to.?? and so on, and so on, and so on…
Seriously, I feel like I’m trapped in a boring chapter in the Bible right now.
I truley have the hardest time understanding die-hard Ruby on Rails fans.? While it is mildly interesting to me, it is just not a solid platform for a large corporate website.? Personally, I would argue against it for ANY website.? Why start something that can’t easily grow with your business?
Then again, I would argue that Object Oreiented Programming (OOP) in general has been taken way too far overboard in trying to simplify the programming process.? Too many layers of abstraction.? Too many places to break.
